They’re Back: Communists And Their Fellow-Travelers

Live long enough and you will see the Communist Frisbee circle back again.
Having grown-up in the NY Catskill’s in the 50’s I saw numerous openly avowed communists enjoying their summer time leisure out of NYCs sweltering heat (before widespread air-conditioning).
Included among our small town visitors was one of the editors of the Daily Worker.

Later, there was still an active group that participated in buying and stocking and driving vans to Nicaragua in 1988.

Given Hollywood’s biased views of Trumps’ team and their history of embracing socialism one can now expect a major direct assault upon Pompeo reminiscent of the anti-McCarthy onslaught for his:
“vociferous campaign against ‘alleged’ communists in the US government and other institutions carried out under Senator Joseph McCarthy in the period 1950–54.”

Any student of history would conclude there were communists in the US State Dept that influenced the very ill FDR to agree to the Yalta agreement that committed 50-million East Europeans to 50-years of Soviet Slavery.
A condition that caused many Americans to proclaim:
Better Dead than Red!
