Apparently 60-years of preferential voting advantage to Black Voters has ended.
The SCOTUS has decided that The ‘one person one vote’ should now be color-blind.
Major disruptions of the 2027 midterm voting with gerrymandering already in full swing in Virginia and across the US.
Was 60-years, 3-generations, enough time for integration, education, jobs and equal-rights to get Black People on a reasonably level playing field? We certainly hope so! If not now --- when?

The Supreme Court significantly narrowed a key provision of the Voting Rights Act in a 6-3 ruling Wednesday, further eroding the impact of the landmark civil rights-era law.
For decades, Section 2 — a provision that broadly outlawed discrimination in voting on the basis of race — has been interpreted to allow, and sometimes demand, the use of race-conscious data in redistricting, to protect the voting power of minorities.

In Roanoke where there are 40,000 total voters (well over half are Democrats), the Democrat Party "Insiders" choose a “Fire House Primary” with only ONE voting location for the entire City.
Only 3,027 voters voted and Lea won by 134 votes.
Talk about voter suppression and denial of voting rights!
