A very nasty Franklin County person “anonymously and falsely” accused two county elected supervisors of felonies in their conduct of office,
to wit: considering applications for potential new businesses seeking accommodations in the existing county business park on Rt 220.
A Commonwealth attorney investigated and found NO Grounds for charges or admonitions.
It is unconscionable that someone can file major formal criminal complaints anonymously.
Hopefully this person will be quickly unmasked and lawsuits filed against him/her for libel and slander.

This person ”presumably” is opposing the County Board of Supervisors even reviewing proposals for data centers for the vastly under-utilized County Business Park on Rt 220 that would bring jobs and massive tax relief to the county residents and businesses.
What a contrast to the major efforts in Botetourt County where plans and proposals are being seriously considered and implemented:

It would behoove all the TAXPAYERS of Franklin County to support the good-will efforts of their honorable Board of Supervisors in exploring these business opportunities while they are still available.
