Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, is calling for Anthony Fauci to be held in contempt, prosecuted for perjury and sent to jail after the former White House COVID-19 advisor pleaded his Fifth Amendment right more than 100 times during a Senate hearing Wednesday.
"I think Anthony Fauci has had contempt for Congress and contempt for the American people for decades," he said. "His diary shows that he deliberately lied to the American people over and over and over again."

A US Senate subcommittee gave Fauci the opportunity to explain his actions during the Covid pandemic that took a million lives and shut-down the country for two-years including the public-school systems.
Instead of participating in the hearing, Fauci invoked his 5th amendment right to remain silent, a feat that must have been herculean for him.
This refusal to participate is consistent with his pardon, for whatever he may or may-not have done, by Pres. Biden, who also was complicit in the Covid government malfeasance and also pardoned himself.
