Xi & Trump Uneventful – Thank Goodness!

U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping concluded a highly televised three-day state visit in Washington, D.C. The summit emphasized diplomatic spectacle, yielding a two-month trade truce extension and assurances regarding global conflicts.

Given the need for peace and prosperity in the world, it’s not clear what real progress was made at the US-China summit, if any.
China’s drive for supremacy: militarily, economically, and geographically, is in stark conflict with US interests.

The new AI competition is adding new focus and intensity to our ongoing conflicts.
The US constrained the Soviet Union with Star Wars competition, perhaps we will have similar outcomes with China with AI --- Perhaps Not --- Probably Not
