Iran “The Dead Snake Syndrome”

-
Growing-up in the country involved being ‘advised’ about poisonous snakes ie: rattlers, copper-heads and water-moccasins.
Part of the “schooling” was the warning that cutting a snake in half does not ‘defang’ it, at least not perhaps until the ‘sun goes down’………something about ‘cold-blooded’ creatures.

Iran is down, but like a halved-snake, is still very dangerous

We should Not underestimate Iran’s military!
Iran is a large country with a large army with the capability to mount major land-warfare. It would take a major war to defeat and occupy Iran.
Iraq failed in its war from 1980 to 1988.
According to the Global Firepower Index, Iran's military is ranked 16th out of 145 countries in 2025. Iran's military has approximately 610,000 active-duty personnel and 350,000 reservists, making it one of the largest in the Middle East.

Regime change did Not work out well for the Shaw-Ayatollah swap! We threw the Shaw under the bus and then got a really bad new bus driver!

Hopefully a peace can be negotiated and can be extended to the entire Middle-East region.
As long as the sun will shine, as long as the rivers will flow:
we’re Not proud of the way we made that one work either!
