There must be a literature prize for authoring ‘exciting news’ about sea-level rise.
Clearly sea-levels have been rising and falling for thousands of years:
Approximately 340-feet over the past 16,000 years. Really!

Along the US East Coast, and in many shore lines around the world, more significant than sea-level rise, is the Shore Line Falling called Subsidence.

‘Subsidence’ is due primarily to plate-Techtonic’s. Those areas ‘Appear’ to have increased ‘sea-level rise’; somewhat like standing in a sinking boat and concluding that the lake is rising.

Suggestion: Stop publishing one-sided, embellished and biased stuff and focus instead on realistic data that in reality are very variable with lots of contradictions and in witch the causes vs. effects are very complex.
Note for the student: get a grip, the earth has been very cold and very hot before and sea levels have varied many hundreds of feet without any contribution by mankind.
