But glaciers have been shrinking pretty much everywhere over the past 20 years as temperatures have risen due to human activities, principally burning fossil fuels.

The Gore, Kerry, Greta team and their associates are coming unstrung!
The current US administration and public views and attitudes have set ‘man-made global warming religion’ asunder and world energy policy has become “all of the available sources at the best price”.
It’s notable that China has followed that path all along!
As a result, panic-articles on: warming, glaciers, ocean rise and Climate Armageddon are being promoted in and by the GoreMedia.

Perhaps the public are starting to accept the reality of the earth’s climate cycles and the limited impact man-kind has had on climate.
Perhaps people just want the benefits that a fossil-centric world has provided and are doing ‘convenient things’ while hoping for the bestl!
Perhaps wind, solar and nuclear energies will yet expand and save the world!
Aye Yes: The sheep will then come home, wagging their tails, behind them!

In the mean-time, some climate observations are appropriate given that the Armageddon people choose Not to share a global historical climate view with the public! Something about mushrooms, dark & poop!

There is global warming and melting AGAIN as the earth is now in yet another natural warming cycle perhaps aggravated by mankind, perhaps not.

The ‘current’ northern hemisphere glacial melting and retraction started circa 1750 and has continued and has accelerated due to natural warming and the reality that as more earth-rock are exposed, the more heat is absorbed and that in turn accelerates the melting.

The 340-feet sea level rise over the past 16,000 years is still progressing with 8-inch rise over the past 145-years that has major variability as large as the total 8-inch rise.
