The Life-Death Importance Of Job Criteria
The devastating aircraft accident in DC between a passenger plane and a military helicopter has taken 67 precious lives.
Very early, perhaps too early, Pres. Trump made remarks about recent national policy regarding selection criteria and processes for selecting persons in high responsibility positions.

The FAA position documents he read aloud were clearly not OK and not consistent with responsible management of public safety!

Those criteria may or may-not be the cause-effect of this accident, however; they clearly are Not acceptable for public safety in any venue, civilian, government or military.

A major reason military helicopters are operating in this high-risk area are demands by congressmen, senators, administrators and bureaucrats for chopper-service.
Woud be appropriate for the accident investigation to include this inappropriate use of military aircraft in such a high-risk zone and demand it either stop or the commercial service be stopped.

FBI employees were terminated or forced to quit Thursday within hours of FBI Director nominee Kash Patel’s testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
At least 20 executive assistant directors, assistant directors and special agents in charge from throughout the U.S. were forced out of the agency, according to sources. Field offices where top officials lost their posts include Miami, New Orleans, Las Vegas and Washington, D.C.

Total safe Panama access, at reasonable cost, has again become at risk for US interests under the current regime who has allowed China to gain control functions of the canal.
President Trump has made it clear that US vital interests are being jeopardized, and the US will once again take control of the canal, by force again if necessary.

The 1989 US invasion of the Panama Canal Zone and capture of dictator and drug-lord Noriega had a significant personal connection for me. The US commanding general Marc Cisneros was a friend and fellow Artillery Officer in Babenhausen Germany in 1962. At a reunion in 2017 Lt. Gen. Cisneros gave an insightful presentation of his view of the Panama Canal invasion and capture of Noriega.
