Student
loans are indeed stifling those who now are paying principle and interest on
loans instead of buying stuff that stimulates the economy.

Perhaps these
indebted folks might reflect that the same issues relate to the national debt
and that when they finish paying off their college debt – they can start paying
off the national debt.

Two root
causes of this problem are:
- Students taking courses that IF they result in jobs, the jobs do not pay enough to pay-off the loans.
- The Universities are massively gouging their students.
-
Perhaps a good
way to pay-down the loans is for every University to retroactively pay-off all
their student’s loan amounts over $20,000 per year of study.
To be fair
they should also refund that amount to every student who has paid down their
loans themselves.

This will
resolve this student loan crisis and will start the process of getting
University costs and tuitions under a business management process instead of a
chronic every year increase.

Isn’t it a
hoot that most of these Universities have a Business School
but do not apply business management and cost controls and value-add processes
to themselves!
