The director of Gaza's Al-Shifa hospital, the largest in the Palestinian territory, was arrested Thursday by Israeli forces who said it was over the facility's alleged use by Hamas.
Hospital director Muhammad Abu Salamiya has been frequently quoted by international media about the conditions inside Al-Shifa, a major focus of an Israeli ground offensive following attacks by Palestinian militant group Hamas on Oct. 7.

The hospital director was held for questioning following "evidence showing that Shifa Hospital, under his direct management, served as a Hamas command and control center," the Israeli military said in a statement.

House lawmakers are warning that the Biden administration’s $27 billion green energy "slush fund" at the Environmental Protection Agency could be used to finance Democratic political allies and Chinese solar companies, according to a letter obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

"With billions of dollars on the line, an unusually accelerated timeline for disbursement, and a new and complex funding structure, this program warrants close scrutiny and rigorous oversight," wrote McMorris Rodgers and other House Energy and Commerce Committee Republicans in the letter.
They added that the "EPA has no experience administering such a funding vehicle, referring to it as ‘a first-of-its-kind’ program," and has "just over a year to obligate $27 billion."
The letter also noted that some of the funding is directed to solar power and other green energy industries dominated by China and questioned how the EPA would be able to ensure that products are sourced domestically.

A video montage posted by the Danville Register & Bee (DRB) claims climate change is making storms more powerful and damaging. This is false. Data consistently show that as the earth has modestly warmed, the number of powerful cyclones have declined, wind speeds are not outside the norm, and increasing damages and costs are due to larger populations and more infrastructure now existing in areas historically prone to powerful storms than in the past.

Once that is achieved the message will be that Trump is toast and Republicans will be in disarray for 2024.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it carried out an airstrike Friday on an ambulance that was transporting Hamas terrorists in violation of international humanitarian law.
The IDF issued a statement:
An IDF aircraft struck an ambulance that was identified by forces as being used by a Hamas terrorist cell in close proximity to their position in the battle zone.
A number of Hamas terrorist operatives were killed in the strike. We intend to release additional information. More detailed information was shared with intelligence agencies who we work with. We have information which demonstrates that Hamas’ method of operation is to transfer terror operatives and weapons in ambulances.

This event came to be called Kristallnacht (The Night of Broken Glass) because of the shattered glass that littered the streets after the vandalism and destruction of Jewish-owned businesses, synagogues, and homes.

Nine students at the same Virginia high school have overdosed on suspected fentanyl in less than a month, prompting the state's governor to issue an executive order calling for greater transparency for parents.
All of the overdoses involved opioids suspected to contain fentanyl, and four of them happened on campus at Park View High School in Sterling, about 30 miles northwest of Washington D.C., according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office and the office of Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin.
