opportunity – get the PravdaMedia to run stories smearing both Falwell and his
wife with salacious sex stories.

this study will address two important weather-climate items:

does Roanoke’s
ever increasing ‘heat island effect’ result in increasing localized temperatures.

Two: How
does the ROA airport’s ever increasing ‘heat island effect’ result in increasing
localized temperatures.

ROA is the
location of an official NOAA instrument cluster that is used to compare
temperatures over time and draw conclusions about temperature trends and
speculation of the causes of the changes.
-
Adjusting
the ‘heat island’ effect from the current measured temperatures is necessary in
order to make any valid comparisons to historical data.
-
This situation
much like measuring sea-level rise compared to a land marker where the land is
sinking (subsidence) like the Virginia
coast.
-
For
example; If the temperature ‘heat-island correction’ is (+2-degrees-F relative to 1966) then we
did Not recently break the 1966-record of sequential 90-degree days and one may
Not validly speculate about regional warming or the cause-effect thereof.
