The Democrat Md/DC/Virginia Sewer Disaster is a logical follow-up to the Democrat’s 2021 Disastrous Power/Energy Policy & Laws -- “Democrat Affordable Energy Act”! -- to cripple and degrade Virginia’s Electric Grid System with massive cost increases and unreliable and intermittent supplies.
Roanoke’s Sam Rasoul was a major player in this total misdirected Democrat-Gore boondoggle who are now trying to place a band-aide on a massive energy mess that is and will continue to cost rate payers massive bills and adversely impact the reliability of the grid.

The accountability Rasoul talks about should be the accountability of him and the Va Democrats who voted for 100% renewables and shutting down all fossil fueled generators --- they should have known that renewables do not support 24-7-365 availability, serviceability and reliability and represent a duplicate and redundant investment and expense!

Virginia Bill aims to cut electric bills
House Bill 1075, which is aimed specifically at Appalachian Power customers, has passed the Virginia House of Delegates and is now headed to the state Senate.
Del. Sam Rasoul, who introduced the bill, said it’s a step toward accountability and could eventually help keep bills in check.
“People are complaining that the electric bills are too high. We all feel the pressure from these AEP bills. AEP is coming to the SCC to ask to look at their rates, maybe even for an increase later this year. We wanted to put some guardrails on that. We’ve got to do more to put pressure on to bring these bills down,” said Del. Rasoul.

The surge lasted from Jan. 5 to Jan. 19, a little more than two weeks, and included extensive cooperation between U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and state and local police, who hailed their federal counterparts’ “professionalism” throughout the operation.
