This editorial sums up very well the very disturbing saga of Gov. and Mrs McDonnell and their sad fall from grace to disgrace.
It is inconceivable to me, that a Governor, lawyer and former Va AG would allow himself and his family to be compromised by such an obvious charlatan.
The dysfunctional marriage and out of control spouse may have been a contributor to the problem but certainly is not even close to a valid excuse.
I continue to have doubts about the Quid pro Quo concept (the heart of the felony charges); and apparently the RT Editor does too:
