Roanoke Times, 12-9-2015, Pg
Va. 1: The “US
government” filed a brief opposing former Gov. Bob McDonnell’s request for an
appeal to his corruption convictions.
-
The “US
government”, that means Obama personally going out of his way to “stick it to
Bob McDonnell”. Obama and minions used federal prosecutors to
“get” Bob McDonnell before the last Virginia
election. The plan and the result were
to get Virginia
into Democrat hands in time to support Hillary’s election to President.
-
The prosecutors convinced a
federal jury that McDonnell used his office to assist the business activities
of a “vitamin supplement” business and in return, he and his wife got $150,000
in gifts and gratuities.
To many observers it appeared
and still appears that McDonnell provided minimal and trivial support, well
within the bounds of what representatives do under the guise of “constituent
service” and was within the bounds of Virginia
code.
-
Clearly, the Obama handling of the McDonnell case
stands in stark contrast to how his Judicial System is handling the massive
malfeasance of Hillary’s money-gathering, political favoritism and
mismanagement of sensitive national security top secret information.

Clinton intervened
for firm after request to son-in-law
http://www.roanoke.com/news/wire_headlines/clinton-intervened-for-firm-after-request-to-son-in-law/article_d21bc625-8656-59fb-ad8d-e94eeda9a8db.html
WASHINGTON (AP) — As
secretary of state, Hillary Clinton intervened in a request forwarded by her
son-in-law on behalf of a deep-sea mining firm to meet with her or other State
Department officials, according to the recently released Clinton emails.
One of the firm's investors
had asked Clinton's
son-in-law, Marc Mezvinsky, who is married to Chelsea Clinton, for help setting
up such contacts, the emails show.
-
Marc’s father Ed, Chesea’s father-in-law, is no
stranger to political malfeasance.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Mezvinsky
In March 2001, Mezvinsky was
indicted and later pleaded guilty to 31 of 69 felony charges of bank fraud,
mail
fraud, and wire fraud.[12]
Nearly $10 million was involved in the crimes. Shortly after his indictment, he
was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, but the judge at his trial
disallowed a mental illness defense.[5]
He served his time at Federal Prison Camp, Eglin.[13]
Mezvinsky, Federal Bureau of Prisons # 55040-066,
was released in April 2008.[14] He
remained on federal probation until 2011, and as of 2010[update]
still owed $9.4 million in restitution to his victims.[15]

Hillary Gets $2 BILLION goes to White House Again
http://roanokeslant.blogspot.com/2015/02/maureen-gets-150-thousand-goes-to-jail.html
Hillary’s latest take is $2
BILLION in slush fund money, much of which is from foreign sources, handled by
their “Foundation”. Wasn’t she Secretary
of State? Wasn't her primary responsibilities working with foreign
entities?

Roanoke Times Editorial: About McDonnell’s Conviction
http://roanokeslant.blogspot.com/2014/09/a-fair-and-balanced-and-professional.html
Roanoke Times,
9-5-2014, Pg 5: Editorial; Our view: What the jury said
http://www.roanoke.com/opinion/editorials/our-view-what-the-jury-said/article_a19c847e-3398-52b4-b510-f025ef94c973.html
This editorial sums up very well the very disturbing saga of Gov. and Mrs
McDonnell and their sad fall from grace to disgrace.
It is inconceivable to me, that a Governor, lawyer and former Va AG would allow
himself and his family to be compromised by such an obvious charlatan.
The dysfunctional marriage and out of control spouse may have been a
contributor to the problem but certainly is not even close to a valid excuse.
I continue to have doubts about the Quid pro Quo concept (the heart of the felony
charges); and apparently the RT Editor
does too:
“Perhaps the most extraordinary thing about McDonnell’s conviction – and the
thing that ought to really get the attention of politicians – is that the
governor didn’t really do much of anything in return for all those gifts”

McAuliffe And The Hypocrisy Of Ethics
Report cites
favoritism for Terry McAuliffe and brother of Hillary Clinton
http://www.politico.com/story/2015/03/report-cites-favoritism-for-terry-mcauliffe-and-brother-of-hillary-clinton-116370.html
“A Department of Homeland Security
watchdog report issued Tuesday blasted the agency’s No. 2 official for repeatedly
intervening on behalf of well-connected participants in an investor-visa
program, including Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D-Va.) and Tony Rodham, a brother of
former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
The inspector
general report faults Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas
for creating “an appearance of favoritism and special access” as a result of
highly unusual steps he took while serving as director of U.S. Citizenship and
Immigration Services, which oversaw the investment-based program known as
EB-5.”
