Pravda Media Priorities: Trump Trash-Talk vs. Hillary’s Deceitfulness?

-
Roanoke Times, 10-8-2016:
Pg 1: Trump’s crude comments about women
Back on Pg 3: Private Clinton speeches leaked
-
The RT Editors decided to make today’s news priorities:
Page 1: Features Trump Trash Talk – covered in blog item:
-
Page 3: Features Highlights of Hillary’s quarter-million each talks to those big bad Wall Street cash-cow boogey-men she’s going to hammer as soon as she’s POTUS.  Really?
These are the speeches that Bernie based most of his campaign upon that Hillary wouldn’t divulge.  They formed the Hillary-hypocrisy that Bernie and his followers lamented as proof that Hillary is a Charlatan badmouthing Wall Street while collecting millions of dollars for speeches they wanted to hear.
How can anyone’s 20-minute speech be “worth” quarter-million dollars?
-
This RT “news” prioritizing is clearly consistent with their dissing of Trump and the burying of Bernie’s campaign message.
-
The major two Hillary positions in the leaked speeches that she clearly has hidden from the campaign and the public are her support for:
·       Open Trade Deals
·       Open Borders
-
Are these not key issues for the voters to consider?
Is it not a problem that Hillary fosters one view while hiding that from the voters?
Would not an independent news media ensure the voters are well informed about this major issue of Hillary’s deceitfulness?  Apparently Not!
-
So which is more important to the coming election of a new POFTUS?
Some Trump locker-room trash-talk -- or
The dishonesty of Hillary collecting millions of dollars for speeches to those she claims to abhor and her major positions clearly not popular with the voters.
-
And to think – we once had a reasonably independent and responsible media.
One might just reflect on the values of the RT paper's original owner, M. H. Claytor.
First editorial, Nov 30, 1886, by Mr. Claytor, first owner and editor of the Roanoke Times outlines the paper’s philosophy including:
• It has no pets to reward and no enemies to put down.
• It will endeavor to be truthful.
• It is the mouthpiece of no order, corporation, party nor clique.
• To the fostering of our infant manufactories, to the development of our mineral resources and the cultivation of our fertile fields, must we direct our best efforts if we would make this Southern land of ours blossom as the rose.

Should Mr. Claytor return today he would probably start a blog called “RoanokeSlant”!
