California’s Jerry Brown Carrying AGW Water For Al Gore

California's new water restrictions send residents fleeing to saner states

The California water supplies are being stressed by the water demands of a huge population, massive agriculture, leaky pipes, watering the delta-smelts and the natural variability of rain.

The Brown Story – its 'man-made global warming' that’s causing the people of California to suffer with a new mandate of only 50-gallons per person per day!

California’s water issues are older than the state and reached a milestone with the 1922 Congressional Act governing the Colorado River water allocations.

Since then, Cal has gone from 1.5-million people in1900 to 39.1-million in 2015; talk about an increase in water usage and a state responsibility to develop adequate water resources or limit the population by fiat.

Responsible state government would have:

Limited the population,

Initiated significant desalination facilities all along the 850-mile coast,

Built additional dams to impound seasonal rain runoff and

Implemented state-wide waste-water reclamation and recycling.

But the liberal socialist government of California is much too busy doing nonproductive social work to focus on the water supply vs water demand for its people.

A similar folly to the current focus on renewable electric without proper planning to ensure that the 100% grid backup facilities are not lost or degraded.

So now Brown and company need a scapegoat for implementing draconian water rationing down to 50-gallons per person per day and that scapegoat is ‘AGW man-made global warming’ – who could have seen that coming?

None of the ‘news’ releases on this item contain any data or real facts to support this Brown-Gore draconian proclamation.

Reality:

There is indeed a major build-up of CO2 in the atmosphere

The California rainfall shows no correlation to CO2

The California rainfall shows massive natural variations year to year

Variability Negates Conclusions: The only valid claim is that the rainfall is well within the current and 100-year range of natural variability.

The Gore measurement technology: Measure with a micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with axe and make invalid draconian claims.

Let’s all look at the Reality Data and reach our own consensus:
