Northam, AOC, Greta and Gore Hatch A Disastrous Energy Plan For Virginians

The so called ‘Clean’ and ‘Renewable’ Northam energy plan will be a disaster for rate-payers, hitting the poorest hardest and driving up costs for everything.

Since 100% backup energy is required for intermittent solar and wind, most of the massive spending is redundant and therefore an adder to the current energy bills.

Where is the Truth in Advertising? Where is the Realism?

The Reality:

You have a crew-cab pickup that’s both your truck and your car.

Buying an extra expensive car, that only works 5-hours a day, doesn’t reduce your expenses (It adds greatly to your costs!) if you continue to need your crew-cab truck on-call 24-7 for what the car won’t do!

The current ‘renewable energy scam’ is to get your rate paying neighbors to own the crew-cab pickup (the grid) and they do your work whenever you call; then, you go around bragging how cheap your transportation is!

What part of this ‘shell game’ is hard to understand?

Another $41 billion on solar panels to get us to a full 118 TWh of total electrical generation. Another $60 billion on energy storage to reliably get us through a single windless winter night. Now it adds up to $138 per household per month.”

“Virginia’s Governor Ralph Northam’s administration has set the following goals for renewables as a percentage of total power: 30% by 2030 and 100% by 2050. The 30% goal is not realistically achievable but is worthy of discussion. The 100% goal is laughable, an insult to the intelligence of the Virginia voter. No one knows how to do it.”
