With leaders like this, it’s no wonder our kids think nothing about using this kind of language and acting inappropriately. Of course, these progressives are also never honest in stating what they stand for.

False Flags In The Va-5th Primary?

Freedom Caucus Chair Bob Good has begun sowing seeds of doubt in Virginia's Fifth District Congressional primary as he trails his challenger, state Sen. John McGuire, by roughly 300 votes.

Good had signaled his unwillingness to accept the results as early as Thursday, while the votes continued to be counted and McGuire maintained his lead. And on Sunday morning, Good, who once described himself as a "biblical conservative," was busy on social media.
"This race cannot and must not be certified. Republicans in Virginia 5 deserve a fair and accurate election," Good posted on X through his campaign account at around 9:02 a.m.

Good first hinted that he may be unwilling to accept the results of the primary election in a suggestive post on X on Thursday, as the margin between him and McGuire hovered at around 315 votes and the count continued its slow march.

"We had 3 'fires' on election day in 3 precincts, all requiring the precincts to be evacuated for 20 minutes. Albemarle County, Hanover County, and Lynchburg City. What is the probability? Does anyone recall even 1 fire at a precinct on election day?" he posted."

"Though Good's campaign manager, Diana Shores, said they are uncertain what happened at the precincts during the fire alarm evacuations, registrars for each of the localities provided USA Today with a detailed account.

Good, who was elected to federal office in 2020, won his past primaries through conventions on what critics have called "his turf" in a district that spans close to 200 miles from top to bottom. In both of those races, he garnered less than 2,000 votes at those conventions in a district with roughly 562,925 active voters, according to data from the Virginia Board of Elections.

“He has, in effect, campaigned and legislated for those 2,000 people. I believe he has not represented the voices of everyone in his district, and I think that’s a real vulnerability,” McGuire, his opponent, said in an interview with USA Today in May.

More than $1.5 million has been spent by both Good's and McGuire's campaigns in the Fifth District primary race. More than $10 million has been spent by independent groups, according to the Virginia Public Access Project. Of that, $2.4 million went to anti-McGuire efforts and $3.4 million went to anti-Good efforts. Those efforts include spending on attack ads that appear on television or social media, or through direct mail."

I read '1984' while I was a young deckhand on a tugboat. It had a lifelong impression on my view of political power and intrigue.

He has vowed to pursue a recount in the race, saying there should be a full accounting of “every legal vote.”

The seeds of doubt about the election are the latest chapter in a contentious GOP civil war of a campaign that saw former President Trump, former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), and many House Republicans make endorsements for Good’s challenger, former Navy SEAL and state Sen. John McGuire, that were widely seen as revenge. Good, the chair of the hard-line conservative House Freedom Caucus, had endorsed Florida Gov.
