Obama’s Economic-Driven ReSegregation Legacy
-
Roanoke Times, 5-18-2016, Pg
1, 6: Divide in race in schools
persists; schools are resegregating.
K-12 public schools that are
both poor and mostly black or Hispanic grew from 9 to 16 percent from 2001 to
2014.

It is sad that Obama has
worsened the situation for people of color in the US during his seven-year reign. The Obama legacy: massive underemployment,
food stamps, welfare, stagnant pay, and record school free lunch programs compounded
by $19 TRILLION in debt.
These Obama massive economic failures have not only curtailed the advancement and mobility of people of color but has caused them to regress back into neighborhoods from which they aspire to escape resulting in "resegregation" of communities and schools.

Much was expected but little
good was delivered. It’s not clear that
Obama understands yet today that:
“It’s the Economy – Stupid”! Even the Clinton's are singing that song again!
Apparently, he still doesn’t
comprehend the damage he has done with his Jihad against our system of Free
Enterprise and the job growth potential from small-business growth. How sad is that! However, it’s understandable considering his
claim to fame is being a college professor and community organizer. What economic growth and job development ever
came from that background?

The recent dialogue on these
issues in Roanoke (one of the most segregated
cities in Virginia)

highlights the adverse
impacts of Obama’s paltry economic recovery on those who are least able to
cope.

Roanoke Candidates Address Cultural Divisions
And Economics
The 2500 word
epistle was well summed up with one short sentence:
“Fundamentally,
the bedrock change must be economic, they agree, so that more people can afford
what is offered.”

Another measure of the marginal
Obama-McAuliffe Virginia
economy is the sad fact that 42% of Virginia’s
students are approved for free or reduced price
school lunch.
This sad data is
clearly far more widespread than just people of color!

The resolution of our economic-driven resegregation
is economic growth throughout the country.
That requires encouragement and development of private enterprise growth
through economic incentives and reasonable and prudent regulations and the
rebranding that business is good and not evil as Obama has proclaimed and disparaged.
