LTE: Global Temperatures and Climate Have Always Been Changing

-
The Franklin News-Post 2-2-2017 opinion: Ms. Joy Jamison, Shelter Stories
“Documentation proves global warming” totally misses the point while quoting lots of man-made global warming alarmist’s predictions and alarmism.
-
Every eight-grade earth science student knows that the temperature, weather and climate have always been changing and those changes have been the result of natural forces for hundreds of thousands of years.
-
Increased temperatures from natural causes ended the little ice age circa 1750 and are continuing today and we are still exiting a massive glacial period with both polar areas still covered by glaciers.  16,000 years ago the oceans were 400-feet lower than today and the Outer Banks were 50 miles out at the continental shelf.  The oceans continue to rise at a modest 8-inch per 100 years.  Clearly none of this was caused by man-kind.
-
The key question:  is man-kind making a significant change to the natural order, and if so, are moderate changes beneficial?  The world population is growing at an alarming rate resulting in major deforestation to accommodate people and crops.  The use of fossil fuels has resulted in significant increases to the primarily natural atmospheric CO2.
 -
There are thousands of people spending hundreds of millions of taxpayer grant money who are dedicated to making the case that man-kind is causing catastrophic changes to global temperature and thereby climate.  They have been unsuccessful in demonstrating that scientific cause-effect.  As an alternative to the “scientific method” they generate computer models that simply turn out results consistent with the input assumptions and then purport that they are correct because they have a “consensus of opinion” amongst their community.
It’s notable that there are no ships passing through the North West Passage even though Al Gore and friends predicted that the Arctic would be ice-free by 2014.  The Arctic may well become ice-free again; it’s been ice-free before no thanks to man-kind.
 -
Focusing on coastal flood control is prudent.  Perhaps people shouldn’t continue to build in tidal areas, especially where the land is sinking as is the Virginia coastline.
Perhaps there will soon be an open debate about these important issues in public forums including our universities, perhaps the rioters will squash that free speech too.

Could treated sewage be a tool against sea-level rise?
As a tool against sea-level rise, the idea seems a little counterintuitive: Add water to the ground.
Virginia's coastal region needs to hold on to as much dry land as it can. The area along the bay and Atlantic Ocean is afflicted by what's known as relative sea-level rise, which measures the cumulative effect of sinking land and rising water.

Exposed: How world leaders were duped into investing billions over manipulated global warming data
The Mail on Sunday can reveal a landmark paper exaggerated global warming
It was rushed through and timed to influence the Paris agreement on climate change
America’s National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration broke its own rules
The report claimed the pause in global warming never existed, but it was based on misleading, ‘unverified’ data
