The Capitol Police Officer who died subsequent to the Jan 6th mayhem in DC was alleged to be killed by the actions of persons in the mob that penetrated the Capitol.
Latest news: The officer died the day after the mayhem of natural causes from a stroke.
Clearly this does not absolve members of the mob from their actions – but – the media storyline that two of the mob had killed the officer was clearly falsified (Fake News).
