No one came to help, no one even called the police.
There were post-murder shouts of righteous indignation by multitudes of others who it is doubtful would have acted differently.

Subsequently the ‘without sin amongst us’ informed us that it is Illegal Not to help someone in distress.
They even scolded us that ‘in most places’ there’s a ‘Good Samaritan Law’ that shield a involved-citizen from a law suite that would bankrupt him.
Really? How’s that working out for you in today’s litigious environment and liberal DAs anxious to nail anyone looking like a ‘vigilante’ including those desperately trying to defend themselves and their family even in their own homes.
These days, even the police can't help themselves no less help us.

In contrast, today we all watch Ukraine and its people being pounded into oblivion, crying for help, with no one dialing 911 and no help coming for these Kitty Genovese’s.
We all just sit there watching CNN and opining how awful this is!
Some even pray for the victims, finding that to be the solace for the carnage.
Change the channel – there’s a good show on at 8:00.
