The Constitution of Norway was signed at Eidsvoll on 17 May 1814. It is the second oldest written Constitution in the World still in existence. The constitution declared Norway to be an independent kingdom in an attempt to avoid being ceded to Sweden after Denmark–Norway's devastating defeat in the Napoleonic Wars. This established a Union between Sweden and Norway.

HantaVirus Strikes Again

Americans first learned about the HantaVirus during the Korean War when US soldiers, sleeping in sleeping-bags on the ground near the village of Hanta, got deathly ill. The disease is spread by breathing-in dried-dusty infected-mouse feces.

Later the disease caused deaths of campers sleeping on the ground in lean-tos along the Appalachia Trail in Virginia.

Additional fatal cases occurred in Native American communities in the South-West. A young couple died after cleaning out a very dusty mouse ridden abandoned trailer.

Fast forward to current time: an outbreak has occurred on an ocean tour vessel in which three have died and several more are ill. All passengers are quarantined and passengers that had already disembarked are being contacted and monitored.

I have been a reasonably functional Windows/Office user since 3.0 in 1990, however, MicroSoft has managed to decimate that usability with Windows 11!
Writing and editing a simple document is now a Win-11 challenge spread across multiple screens with dozens of dubious options and disjointed selections.
Apparently, MS has decided to move the user community off PCs and onto their www-network, whether we want to move or not, and Win-11 is part of their process.
To add insult to injury the 3rd party application vendors have been sucked-into the morass and their applications have become contaminated too.
