Obama, Kerry, Iran And Nuclear Weapons Proliferation

-
Roanoke Times, 3-12-2015, Pg 1, 3: Democrats, including Sen. Tim Kaine, accuse GOP of turning nuclear talks with Iran into partisan 'sideshow;
-
-
Twenty-four Republican Senators authored a letter to the Radical Muslim Terrorist Ayatollahs of Iran making it very clear that:
The US Constitution gives the President the power to commit the United States to treaties – but only with the advice and consent of two-thirds of the US Senate, and only if the agreement does not contravene the Constitution.
-
The letter resulted in US Sec. of State Kerry to proclaim:
Kerry: Iran deal 'not legally binding'
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/03/11/kerry-iran-deal-not-legally-binding/?intcmp=latestnews
“The Obama administration won't submit any deal limiting Iran's nuclear ambitions to Congress for approval because it won't be legally binding, Secretary of State John Kerry said Wednesday.”
-
What a contrast with the US Constitution:
If it’s not binding – what is it?
It now appears that Obama-Kerry will try to negotiate a deal with Iran and have it “approved” by the UN in order to contravene the US Constitution.
Didn’t Obama and Kerry swear to uphold and defend the Constitution?
Apparently Not!  Apparently Tim Kaine is not too keen on it either.
-
Based on current “leaks”  the agreement will include:
Thousands of centrifuges will stay in place.
The infrastructure and nuclear assets will stay in place.
The nuclear program will “ostensibly” be on-hold for 10 years.
At the end of 10 years, the Iranians are free to do “whatever”.
-
Treaty’s on both nuclear weapons and proliferation have been in place for over fifty years.
If the deal as currently described is reached, there will be major proliferation by multiple oil countries in the mid-East.
They will buy nuclear weapons and missiles from Pakistan as did the North Koreans.
Iran is now in major violation of UN inspectors and UN mandates and has defied every effort to stop their nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs.
-
Apparently we’re headed for another North Korea outcome
http://roanokeslant.blogspot.com/2012/03/north-korean-appeasement-outcomes.html
However, North Korea is physically isolated compared to Iran.
-
Positive news is that some Democrats are now prepared to buck White House on Iran nuclear deal

This Obama-Kerry misdirected activity stand in stark contrast to Obama’s 2009 declarations:
REMARKS BY PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA
Hradcany Square
  Prague, Czech Republic
  April 5, 2009

https://www.whitehouse.gov/the_press_office/Remarks-By-President-Barack-Obama-In-Prague-As-Delivered
“One nuclear weapon exploded in one city -– be it New York or Moscow, Islamabad or Mumbai, Tokyo or Tel Aviv, Paris or Prague –- could kill hundreds of thousands of people. And no matter where it happens, there is no end to what the consequences might be -– for our global safety, our security, our society, our economy, to our ultimate survival.”
“Some argue that the spread of these weapons cannot be stopped, cannot be checked -– that we are destined to live in a world where more nations and more people possess the ultimate tools of destruction. Such fatalism is a deadly adversary, for if we believe that the spread of nuclear weapons is inevitable, then in some way we are admitting to ourselves that the use of nuclear weapons is inevitable.”
